Background

NPS were proud to be successful in the tender process for the installation of this commercial Solar PV system.

We were chosen from a number of contractors, to partner with the owner of this commercial office space and apartment block to install a bespoke commercial PV solution tailored to the specific needs of the building.

The Solution

The building has 4 separate incoming electricity supplies. NPS designed and supplied a system that is comprised of 4 individual sub PV installations.

This unique approach meant that our client was able to benefit from the PV to a much greater level as the generated electricity would be spread out evenly across the whole building.

Some great feedback from our client was that one of the reason NPS was chosen to carry out the project was due to our ability to think outside of the box. We came up with a bespoke solution that made the best use of the buildings unusual electricity supply arrangement.



Reduced Energy Bills

Another challenge on this particular project was the access. At 5 stories high and surrounded by roads the roof of the building was somewhat inaccessible. Our ability to project manage was illustrated as NPS successfully liaised with the local authority, the police and our large scale commercial access and scaffolding partner. We arranged a road closure for the duration of the works and ensured that a safe installation could be accomplished.
